JOIIN explores the notion of weaving light.
The design includes a series of curved surfaces that couple together to shade its light source. Up to three of these lampshades may be connected allowing their surfaces to interact, folding into itself like a ribbon of light.
The textile used to cover the shade comes finely coated with tiny glass beads, appearing white like frost, when viewed from an angle. Therefore the lamp catches attention even when switched off since its surface reflects the light sources from the environment.

a table version h.45, w.38cm
and a wall versionan: h.19, w. 30, d. 13cm
Combinations are only possible with the small version. JOIIN is available in black, white, silver/grey and orange.
JOIIN ist eine Serie von Leuchten, die nicht nur Licht gibt, sondern auch Licht reflektiert! Das Textil des Lampenschirms ist mit mikroskopisch kleinen Glasperlen beschichtet die, abhängig vom Blickwinkel, die Oberfläche nahezu Schneeweiss erscheinen lassen wenn Umgebungslicht reflektiert wird.
JOIIN gibt es als Steh- und als Hängeleuchte, wobei bis zu drei Einzelelemente der Hängeleuchte miteinander gekoppelt werden können, um ein großes gewundenes Band von Licht und Lichtreflexion zu erzeugen.
